The UMBC PROMISE Success Seminar series for graduate students features a variety of topics to assist students with professional development. Guests of this seminars are faculty members from different departments at UMBC. Professors Bob Clark, Stephen Miller, Timmie Topoleski, and Steve Pitts shared their points of views about what faculty really mean when they say something and the actual interpretation students must give to their words.
This week, faculty members discuss their points of view about assertiveness and how to approach professors in different circumstances.
